At Louisiana Tech, we talk a lot about the Spirit of ’88. It’s more than a moment in our history—it’s the energy, pride, and Bulldog determination that lives in every student, every fan, and every alum who has ever called Tech home.
That spirit is what I try to bring to life every time I step onto the field, run across campus, or fire up a crowd. But Champ isn’t just a mascot—it’s a team.
Behind Champ is a dedicated group of Louisiana Tech students known as the Krewe of Champ. These students spend countless hours representing Louisiana Tech at games, campus events, and community appearances. They are ambassadors of the Bulldog spirit, working hard to keep traditions alive and to make every Bulldog proud.
Today, on Giving Day, I’m asking Bulldog alumni to help support them.
