This year, we have organized Giving Day in accordance with the Tech 2030 Strategic Framework centered around:

PEOPLE: We hold as our top priority the development of human potential through supporting the learning goals of our students and the professional goals of our faculty and staff. 

KNOWLEDGE: Research, scholarships and academics at Louisiana Tech engage faculty, students and external partners in collaborative and entrepreneurial efforts to generate and disseminate knowledge and foster innovation that make a difference in our region and around the world.

CULTURE: Louisiana Tech is a resilient campus community offering facilities and systems in physical, administrative, social and cultural environments that are conductive to all aspects of learning and discovery and responsive to changing technologies, educational paradigms and the populations we employ and serve.

Innovation Enterprise Match
Danny & Queenie Ross (The Ross Family Fund) will match up to $500.00 to support the Louisiana Tech Innovation Enterprise. Danny (a 1966 graduate) was involved in a similar facility being created at Georgia Tech which resulted in thousands of jobs being created for the engineering graduates of the school and establishing Georgia as a major technology hub in the south. This Center could transform the I-20 Corridor of Louisiana, creating new industries and technology jobs for the region.

The Dean's Discretionary Fund allows the College of Liberal Arts to respond to emerging needs and gives Dean Karl Puljak the versatility to direct funds towards the 7 distinct school’s most pressing needs each year. Contributions to the Dean's Discretionary Fund directly impact students' educational experience both inside and outside of the classroom by providing necessary equipment, technology, and experiences that enrich program learning.

Education Excellence Challenge
Once $1,000 in gifts has been reached in this challenge, Betty Lou Robertson will give $1,000 to the COE Excellence Fund. This fund is used across all 3 disciplines (Kinesiology, Psychology and Behavioral Services and Curriculum, Instruction & Leadership), within the College for: professional development for faculty and students; replacement and the maintenance of innovative equipment that is required to stay relevant within the profession.
